Covered Ministries is a nonprofit women's ministry based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Our mission is to empower women to abide in the promises of Jesus through our three focus areas of Empowerment, Evangelism, and Advocacy.

What We Do

Expressions Of Our Ministry

Our heart has always been to see the women of Charlotte walk in true freedom. Over the past two years, we’ve watched God move through Covered in ways that could only be described as immeasurably more. As we step into 2026, we’re believing this next season marks the beginning of Phase 2—a deeper expansion of our ministry and a greater outpouring of opportunity. Our vision is to continue creating spaces where women are empowered, equipped, and encouraged to boldly run after the call of God on their lives.

Quarterly Large Gatherings

Covered Nights are our signature women’s gatherings—spaces where women across Charlotte encounter the presence of Jesus, experience authentic community, and are reminded that they are fully seen and deeply loved. Each night blends powerful worship, a timely word, and moments of ministry that lead to freedom, healing, and renewed hope.

Each month, our team partners with Dove’s Nest and Hope Haven—two local recovery and restoration centers in Charlotte to host Bible studies, worship nights for men and women rebuilding their lives. These moments have become sacred spaces where hope is restored, identity is rebuilt, and every person is reminded that no story is too broken for redemption.

Monthly connection events designed to build authentic community beyond the big gatherings. From walks and coffee meetups to dinners and creative outings, these moments give women space to slow down, laugh, and form real friendships rooted in faith. Each social reminds us that we were never meant to walk alone—and that sisterhood is one of the sweetest ways we experience the heart of Jesus.

Covered Conference

Yearly Conference

is a gathering designed to unite women from across Charlotte and beyond to encounter the presence of Jesus in a deeper way. Through powerful worship, transformative messages, and intentional moments of rest and connection, women are equipped and encouraged to walk confidently in their calling. It’s more than an event—it’s a movement of women being established in identity, strengthened in community, and sent out to carry hope into the world.

So often I catch myself whispering the same words Mary spoke in John 11:32: “Lord, if you had been here…” There are moments when it feels like He’s late, like He’s not near enough—but over the past few months, I’ve felt Him closer than the air I breathe.

Mary was grieving the loss of Lazarus. Jesus was told the one He loved was sick, and when it would have been easier to walk away, He stayed.

Take heart today: we serve a God who reminds us that death, hell, and the grave never get the last say. He is near. He is present.

I walked into my first Covered event just weeks after being diagnosed with liver disease. I almost didn’t come because my friend canceled last minute, and I didn’t want to go alone. But my fiancé encouraged me, so I nervously showed up—not knowing how much it would change my life.

The first people I met were Stef and Elizabeth. They welcomed me like family, made sure I wasn’t alone, and showed me the heart of this ministry. That night, during the altar call, Logan prayed over me and God reminded me of who I really was—a part of me I thought was gone.

From that night forward, I knew I wanted to be part of Covered. What started as simply volunteering became a calling, and now I serve on the Core Team. My heart is to give women the same love and kindness I experienced—to make sure no one walks in and feels unseen.

Covered Ministries changed my life and my walk with Jesus. My prayer is that every woman who walks through those doors experiences His love in the same way.

Sometimes we hide the most broken parts of our heart, thinking they’re too shattered, too shameful, or too messy for Jesus. We cover them with smiles, distractions, even ministry — hoping no one, not even God, will look too closely. But here’s the truth: Jesus isn’t afraid of the wreckage — He’s drawn to it.

He doesn’t flinch at your pain. He doesn’t walk away from your wounds. He comes close, right into the middle of the chaos, with healing in His hands and love in His eyes.

The cross wasn’t for the polished, filtered, cleaned-up parts of us.
It was for the moments we fell apart.
The nights we cried ourselves to sleep.
The memories we avoid.
The shame we carry in silence.
It was for that.

So don’t be afraid to show Him the places you think disqualify you. Those are the very places He died to redeem.

Our compassionate Savior sees the brokenhearted and never turns away—He longs to hold every piece, every time.

I used to open my Bible just to check it off the list.
Now I open it to breathe.

Because in the wilderness—when everything feels unclear, unfamiliar, or undone—His Word is where I go to remember what’s still true. Not just about God, but about me.

As I’ve been writing my first devotional with Covered, titled “Nothing is Wasted,” one line like that keeps coming to my heart:

“Scripture is not just a study—it’s a sanctuary. A place we enter to meet with the One who still speaks through every line.”

This project was born in a wilderness season of my own, and it’s reminded me over and over again—God doesn’t waste any of it. Not the waiting. Not the pain. Not the wondering. And definitely not the Word.

I’m still deep in the writing process, but I couldn’t help sharing a little glimpse of what God’s been stirring.

Before you ever took your first breath, God knew you.

He spoke the stars into existence with a word but when it came to you, He used His hands.

Like these ancient trees, shaped slowly by time, weathered by seasons, and still standing in quiet beauty.. your life carries evidence of divine intention.

You were never a mistake. Never an afterthought.You are fully known. Fully loved. Held by the One who formed you and still calls you by name.

Let this be vour reminder:
Even in the silence, even in the stillness - He sees you. He chose you.

A Lesson in the Dirt
Monday night at Doves Nest was holy. We opened to John 13 — the moment Jesus, fully God and fully aware of the cross ahead, got on His knees and washed the feet of His disciples.

Love gets low.
Jesus chose the posture of a servant. He touched what was untouchable. That’s what real love does — it kneels, it serves, it shows up in the mess.

He’s not afraid of your dirt.
Peter tried to stop Him. We do the same. We hide the parts of our hearts we think are too broken, too dirty, too far gone.
But Jesus still kneels. He still invites. He’s not afraid of your shame.

You’ve been washed to wash.
Jesus didn’t just cleanse feet — He set an example. We’ve been loved like this so we can love like this.

Maybe someone needs to hear this today:
Jesus isn’t afraid of your story. Let Him hold what you’ve hidden. Let Him wash what feels unworthy.
Because He already sees it — and He still kneels.

We were in awe of the response to The Seeking Collection.

Watching women gather in prayer, prepare their hearts, and linger in the sacred spaces before worship was nothing short of holy. The presence of God was tangible—felt in every whispered prayer, every tear, every quiet surrender.

This is what it looks like when desperation turns into devotion. When seeking becomes sacred.

Our Beliefs

At Covered, everything we do is built on the truth of God’s Word and the finished work of Jesus. Our beliefs aren’t just statements—they’re the foundation of our faith and the heartbeat of our ministry. We exist to see people encounter the presence of God, walk in freedom, and live covered by His grace.

The Bible

We believe the Bible is the living and inspired Word of God—written by human hands but breathed by the Holy Spirit. It is truth without error and remains our foundation for every part of life. In its pages, we discover who God is, who we are, and how we’re called to live covered by His presence.

The Trinity

We believe in one God who exists eternally in three persons—the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Distinct in role yet equal in power and glory, the Trinity reflects the beauty of perfect relationship and invites us into that same fellowship.

The Father

We believe God the Father is both great and good—holy, all-powerful, and completely trustworthy. He is loving, compassionate, and faithful to every promise. In Him, we live, move, and find our belonging.

The Son

We believe Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man—the only way back into right relationship with the Father. He lived a sinless life, took our place on the cross, and rose again in victory so that we could walk in freedom and eternal life. Through Him, we are redeemed and restored.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit dwells within every believer, guiding us into truth and transforming us to look more like Jesus. He convicts, comforts, empowers, and reminds us that we are never alone—covered and commissioned to carry His presence wherever we go.

Eternity

We believe every person was created to live forever—either in eternal separation from God or in eternal union with Him through Jesus Christ. Heaven and Hell are real, and our eternal home is determined by the choice to receive His gift of salvation.

Humanity

We believe every person is made in the image of God, uniquely created with purpose and value. Though sin broke our fellowship with Him, His grace makes restoration possible. Every story matters, and no one is too far gone for redemption.

Salvation

We believe salvation is a gift of grace—made possible through the blood of Jesus shed on the cross and His resurrection from the grave. It cannot be earned or deserved, only received through faith in Christ alone. In Him, we find forgiveness, freedom, and new life.

The Church

We believe the Church is the body of Christ—imperfect people united by a perfect Savior. We are called to love, serve, and share the hope of the Gospel together. Covered exists to be an extension of that mission: a community where women (and men) can encounter Jesus, find belonging, and be equipped to carry His light into the world.
